Indie games, played here
We built 13 of the games on Eigengames ourselves, each with its own look and its own rules. Next we want games we did not make: small, strange, well-made browser games by independent developers. This page is our open call. The first partner games will appear here, on the home page and in the games strip, with the studio's name on them.
What we look for
- An idea of your own. Not a clone of a famous game, and not a reskin. One rule a player can learn in ten seconds is plenty.
- A round in a few minutes, on a phone and on a desktop, without an install or an account.
- A look that is yours. Pixel art, paper, clay, vectors: anything, as long as it is made with care.
- Fair play. No pay-to-win, no dark patterns, no ads inside your game; if it has a daily puzzle or a leaderboard, a score must come from playing.
- Web tech we can host: HTML5 that runs in a modern browser (canvas, WebGL, or plain DOM), with no tracking of its own.
What you get
- A page for your game with your studio name and a link to you, a cover in the home-page feed, and a place in the games strip.
- Players: our daily puzzles bring people back every day, and every game here has an optional online leaderboard and challenge links you can use.
- A share of the advertising revenue earned around your game. The site shows ads only around the games, never inside them; terms are agreed per game before anything goes live.
- A strategy guide written with you, if you want one, so players get better at your game.
How to submit
Email hello@eigengames.com with a link to a playable build (itch.io, your own site or a zip), two lines about the idea, and who made it. We play everything we receive and answer every submission, usually within two weeks.
How we decide
We play it on a phone and a desktop, look for bugs and anything unfair, and ask one question: would we come back to this tomorrow? If yes, we agree terms with you, help with polish if you want it, and publish. We are a small site, so we take a few games at a time and say no kindly.
